Since 2019, the Cerro Guido Conservation Foundation<\/a> has taken a step forward in protecting native species under the inspiring leadership of P\u00eda Vergara<\/strong>. The Puma Project was created to generate knowledge, use modern tools such as camera traps, GPS, and guard dogs, and promote harmonious coexistence between traditional livestock farming and wildlife. The goal: to stop the puma from being seen as a threat and turn it into a symbolic ally in conservation. <\/p>\n
